The More-To-Do Zoo

Exciting. Interactive. Fun.

Ticket Donations

Thank you for your interest in Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving more than 800,000 guests each year.

We are fortunate to have generous supporters who make it possible for us to provide complimentary tickets to showcase the Zoo in auctions and fundraising activities of other non-profit organizations.

To best serve our community within our available resources, we established the following eligibility criteria for organizations requesting a donation of tickets. Priority will be given to non-profit organizations that:

  • Serve the greater Tampa Bay area (Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, Hernando and Manatee counties)
  • Share our commitment to education, conservation and research
  • Submit the online application a minimum of 6 weeks in advance of the event date

Please note: To be eligible for a donation of tickets, the organization must be a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are unable to fill requests from individuals. We receive many requests for ticket donations and have limited ability to meet the demand. Zoo staff is unable to return phone calls or expedite requests concerning ticket donations; however, it is our intention to respond to every application by mail.

Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo is a globally recognized, accredited zoological society and one of the more popular tourist destinations in Tampa, Florida. We offer over 800,000 annual visitors the chance to learn about more than 1,200 animals in a way that’s exciting, interactive and fun. We also operate one of the world’s foremost breeding programs, helping to save some of our planet’s most threatened species from extinction. In addition to breeding, we are home to Florida’s premier manatee rescue and rehabilitation center, dedicated to the treatment and safe release of one of our state’s most famous resident animal species. Yet with all of this and so much more, we have one simple mission: to connect to the living earth for the protection of future generations of all species, including humans.
