TAMPA, Fla. (August 27, 2013) — Inspired by Dine Tampa Bay restaurant week, Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo is announcing a “taste” of what’s to come on November 2 for the 27th annual Zoofari, the all-inclusive fundraising feast at the Zoo. New early bird tickets, with a lower admission price are available for $65 online through September 30.
Zoofari is an all-inclusive outdoor food festival featuring tantalizing tastes to please any palate. For one ticket price, guests can go on a sampling safari of flavors from Blue Bell Creamery, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., China Mist Tea, Joffrey’s Coffee, Kona Grill, Lindt Chocolate, Mitchell’s Fish Market, Papa John’s Pizza, PCI Bar & Grill, Shells, TCPI Sweets, The Art Institute of Tampa, Yacht Starship and dozens more to come.
The array of savory samples is complemented by open bars and national entertainment. The high-energy Robert Randolph & The Family Band brings its nationwide Licekty Split tour to the TD Bank Main Stage showcasing the band’s distinctive mix of rock, funk, and rhythm & blues. Additional artists will join the lineup in multiple locations throughout the Zoo.
Zoofari admission tickets are all-inclusive. General admission tickets are discounted to $65 early bird rate through September 30. The VIP Rhino Club, presented by Baldwin Krystyn Sherman Partners, offers early entry and exclusive use of the beautiful Safari Lodge. Individual Rhino tickets are $135 online and group packages, starting at 10 tickets, are available by calling 813-935-8552 ext. 275.
