On Saturday, November 8, Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo is serving up one of the biggest, tastiest and “wildest” all-inclusive food festivals in the Bay area known as Zoofari, presented by Ierna’s Heating & Cooling. TAMPA, Fla. (October 28, 2014) — On Saturday, November 8, Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo is serving up one of the biggest, tastiest and “wildest” all-inclusive food festivals in the Bay area known as Zoofari, presented by Ierna’s Heating & Cooling. The annual fundraising feast benefits animal care, education programs and global conservation initiatives of the Zoo, a nonprofit organization.
For one ticket price, guests can go on a sampling safari of more than 50 great tastes of Tampa Bay, enjoy open bars, browse the “Art Safari” art auction, and groove to live music throughout the event featuring long time Florida-rocker Greg Billings with The Greg Billings Band on the main stage. The VIP Rhino Club, presented by Baldwin Krystyn Sherman Partners, offers early entry and exclusive use of the beautiful Safari Lodge and outdoor plaza.
Here’s a “taste” of some returning favorites: BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse, Blondie’s Cookies, The Brunchery Restaurant & Catering, Blue Bell Creameries, Centre Club, Chantilly Cakes, FirstWatch, Kona Grill, LongHorn Steakhouse, Louis Pappas Market Café, McAlister’s Deli, Papa John’s Pizza, Sonny’s Real Pit Bar-B-Q, Texas de Brazil, Yacht StarShip and more. Zoofari guests will also be introduced to several newcomers: Bernini, Carne Chop House of Ybor City, Cigar City Brewing, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant, Ducky’s, Hula Bay Club, Tequilas of Ybor and more.
The array of savory samples is complemented by great live music from buzzworthy Florida bands. Guests can groove to live music from The Greg Billings Band with its distinctive mix of rock, funk, and rhythm and blues. The event also includes a talented roster of artists in locations throughout the event, including: Shaun Hopper, John Kelly Band, Ari & the Alibis, Doug Deming & the Jewel Tones, Caribbean Cowboys and Allon Sams.
For guests seeking to get a head start or host a group at the event, a limited number of tickets are available in the VIP Rhino Club, presented by Baldwin Krystyn Sherman Partners. VIP tickets offer early event entry at 6 p.m. and exclusive use of the beautiful Safari Lodge and outdoor plaza.
