About: Mavi

“Mavi” captured a “ton” of attention upon her arrival. She was born just seven months after her older half-sister, “Mpumi,” and is the first elephant calf born to “Matjeka” and “Sdudla” who came to the U.S. from Swaziland more than a decade ago. Mavi and Mpumi are two of a kind; they go perfectly together. Mavi will usually initiate play and the two will run through mud puddles or climb on logs in the yard.
