THE CALL

Natural connections, natural stories.

Happy Thanksgiving from TLPZ!

Nov 22, 2017

Thanksgiving Blog

As Thanksgiving is upon us, we gratefully pause to wish you a warm and Happy Thanksgiving. This is a time to gather with those we care about and reflect on what we’re most grateful for. This year, Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo continued to evolve into an iconic, world-class wildlife park.  We had an exciting year full of new unforgettable natural connections, signature animal encounters, and entertaining seasonal events. We also just announced our new, wild water adventure, Roaring Springs!

In addition, to my family and loved ones, I am most grateful for the strides we’ve made in conservation thanks to our dedicated staff and your ongoing generosity. From an upgraded manatee filtration system at the David A. Straz, Jr. Manatee Critical Care Center to renovations of the Florida region at the Zoo – your continuous support will expand our capacity to provide vital care, rescue and rehabilitation to threatened native wildlife throughout the state.

So, thank you for visiting the Zoo – every membership, ticket or in-park purchase makes a difference in our mission of conservation.

If you’d like to individually donate to the Zoo, please consider including us in your Giving Tuesday contributions. Please visit tlpz.org/Donate.

I hope this season is filled with happiness, peace and joy. May your home be filled with love during this wonderful time, Happy Thanksgiving!

Best wishes,

Joe Signature
