Daily Premium Experience


Embark on a journey behind-the-scenes for a special up-close experience with the wild animals at Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo. While itineraries change daily, these small group experiences may include the opportunity to touch a White Rhinocerous, hand-feed a Florida Key Deer or hand-feed an Emu. This walking tour provides fantastic photo opportunities and one-of-a-kind memories.

  • 90 minute program.
  • Ticket price includes admission to the Zoo, so you can enjoy the animals and unlimited rides all day long.
  • Children 2 years and under are FREE and may attend, but are not permitted to feed the animals.
  • Children 4 years and under must be carried or held by the hand of an adult in their group.
  • Children 3-8 years must be assisted by parent/guardian while feeding the animals.
  • Children 13 years and under must be accompanied by a paying adult.
  • Space is limited to 8 participants. We suggest making reservations 2 weeks in advance.
  • You may bring a camera, but video recording is not permitted.
  • A Zootastic photographer will be present during your encounter and your group will receive a souvenir photo.

Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo is operated by the Lowry Park Zoological Society, an independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization committed to excellence in education, conservation and research. The Zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), and is featured among the “Top 25 Zoos in the U.S” by TripAdvisor (2015) and “10 Best Zoos in the U.S.” by Trekaroo (2015). The Zoo is located at 1101 W. Sligh Avenue in Tampa, one mile west of I-275 (exit 48) and is open seven days a week, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
