When does it expire?

Your ZooperPass is valid from the day of purchase until Dec. 31, 2016.

What are the blackout days?

  • November 25-27, 2016
  • December 26-31, 2016

Does the ZooperPass have benefits?

ZooperPass tickets are valid for unlimited admission through 2016 with posted blackout dates. ZooperPasses include access to NEW seasonal events like Sunset Celebration, Creatures of the Night, and Christmas in the Wild, as long as the event does not occur on a posted blackout date. For other benefits like preferred parking, reciprocal agreements, discounts on fundraisers and no blackout dates, consider a Zoo Annual Membership.


Yes! You can purchase a ZooperPass for first-time use on a listed blackout date and have full access to the park on that day.  Blackout dates apply to repeat visitation.

Can I use my ZooperPass on blackout dates?

If you already have your ZooperPass and wish to visit during a listed blackout date, please stop by the Zoo’s ticketing windows for alternate options:

  • During blackout periods, Zoopers have access to significantly discounted single-day tickets.
  • For a limited time from the date of purchase, ZooperPasses can be upgraded to Zoo Annual Membership (with no blackout dates).

I purchased a ZooperPass online. How do I get my actual pass?

Simply bring a copy of your confirmation (or show on your mobile device) to expedite entry into the Zoo. At your convenience during your visit, you can stop by the Guest Services kiosk inside the Zoo to print your physical pass. Please note you do not need to stand in line at the ticket windows. Walk right in!

The Zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), and is featured among the “Top 25 Zoos in the U.S” by TripAdvisor (2015) and “10 Best Zoos in the U.S.” by Trekaroo (2015). The Zoo is located at 1101 W. Sligh Avenue in Tampa, one mile west of I-275 (exit 48) and is open seven days a week, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
